Welcome on my website. Please select the page that you want to consult via the top left panel: research, teaching, miscellaneous, etc. I joined the Chief Economist Team of the European Commission (DG Competition) in October 2007. As of September 2009, I am affiliated with the University of Leuven as guest professor in the Advanced Master program. Before, I held teaching positions at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Leuven. I also held a research position at the National Bank of Belgium and have been macroeconomic advisor of the Prime Minister before joining the Chief Economist Team. I obtained a Master of Science in Economics and Ph.D. in Economics at the Catholic University of Leuven. I presented my research at national and international conferences and published it in international refereed journals. |
